The Bridge from Clinical Insight to Biblical Hope
I believe that true transformation, deep emotional healing, and lasting peace are ultimately found through a restored relationship with God and the timeless truth of Scripture.
Rooted in Scripture, Informed by Experience My approach to soul care is grounded in a biblical worldview. While my background brings years of rigorous clinical experience as a licensed professional counselor, Kingdom Counsel LLC operates exclusively as a non-clinical, faith-based ministry. I do not view individuals through the lens of psychological diagnoses or clinical symptoms, but as whole image-bearers of God created for purpose, relationship, and redemption.
Care for the Whole Person I recognize that life in a broken world brings real suffering—anxiety, grief, marital strain, trauma, and deep emotional pain. My soul care ministry honors the complexity of human experience while turning to God’s Word as the primary authority for wisdom, renewal, and spiritual growth. I meet you where you are with compassion, confidentiality, and grace, offering practical, scriptural guidance tailored to your personal journey.
Walking Beside the Local Church I believe God designed the local church to be the primary community for healing, discipleship, and accountability. My ministry does not replace the church; rather, I walk alongside you and your local church body to help restore hope, equip you with biblical principles, and encourage deep, lasting spiritual health.
Welcome! My passion is to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s deep struggles, offering compassionate, Christ-centered soul care rooted in the living truth of Scripture.
For years, I served clients as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wyoming, working within the clinical mental health system. While clinical psychology offers helpful frameworks for looking at human behavior, my time in clinical practice deepened a conviction within me: true, lasting transformation of the heart and mind cannot be found in diagnostic labels or secular therapeutic techniques alone. Real healing occurs when we bring our pain, brokenness, and questions to the God who created us.
Driven by this conviction, I transitioned my practice out of clinical therapy to launch Kingdom Counsel LLC—a ministry dedicated exclusively to non-clinical, biblical soul care. As a Certified Biblical Counselor through the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC), I combine a mature understanding of human struggle, honed through years of professional experience and education, with the unfailing hope and wisdom of God’s Word.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, grief, relational conflict/distress, or spiritual dry seasons, I consider it a privilege to offer a safe, confidential space where you can be heard, encouraged, and pointed toward the peace and freedom found in Christ.
Biblical soul care is a Christ-centered approach to personal growth, emotional healing, and relational health. We look at life through the lens of Scripture, trusting that God’s Word offers profound wisdom, hope, and practical direction for our deepest struggles. Rather than focusing on secular psychological theories or diagnostic labels, soul care focuses on heart transformation, spiritual renewal, and practical application of biblical truth.
While both offer a supportive environment to process difficult life experiences, their foundation, scope, and methods differ:
Clinical Therapy operates under state healthcare licensing, using psychological models to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders listed in the DSM. It often bills health insurance and focuses on clinical symptom management.
Soul Care & Biblical Guidance is a religious and pastoral ministry. I do not diagnose or treat mental illnesses, offer psychiatric care, or bill medical insurance. Instead, we focus on spiritual growth, personal responsibility, biblical conflict resolution, prayer, and scriptural guidance for whole-person flourishing.
Soul care is well-suited for navigating a wide range of life challenges, including:
Anxiety, fear, and feeling overwhelmed
Grief, loss, and difficult life transitions
Marital distress, communication breakdowns, and relational conflict
Personal identity, purpose, and spiritual dry seasons
Guilt, shame, and forgiveness
Yes! I offer a free 30-minute consultation.
This initial conversation is a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity for us to meet one another, share a bit about what you are currently walking through, and explore how biblical soul care can support you. It also gives you space to ask any questions you might have about my approach, the ministry framework, or what to expect in future sessions.
Building trust and making sure you feel comfortable is an essential first step.

Yes. Amber Sankey holds an active License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wyoming and spent years serving clients in the clinical mental health system. However, Kingdom Counsel LLC is strictly a non-clinical ministry practice. Her clinical background provides a mature, deep understanding of human struggle, but her approach here is entirely faith-based and biblical.
Kingdom Counsel LLC does not provide medical treatment, psychiatric care, or clinical psychotherapy. If during our sessions it becomes clear that your needs require medical evaluation or specialized clinical care, we will discuss this transparently and provide you with external clinical and medical referral options.
Individual Soul Care Session (50 minutes): $140
Couples Soul Care Session (75 minutes): $200
All payments are due at or before the time of your session.
I never want financial hardship to be the barrier that prevents you from receiving spiritual care, hope, and support. If you are currently experiencing genuine financial difficulty or are in a tight season, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Payment options are available on a case-by-case basis. If needed, please contact me prior to your initial session so we can discreetly discuss options that make soul care accessible for you.
No. Because Kingdom Counsel LLC provides non-clinical religious care, we do not bill insurance companies, nor do we issue medical superbills or diagnostic CPT/ICD codes. Counselees are directly responsible for session fees at the time of service. You will need to check directly with your HSA/FSA administrator to determine if pastoral/religious care qualifies under your specific plan.
Getting started is simple. You can reach out by phone (call or text) or email to request an initial consultation. Once scheduled, you will receive the standard intake packet and disclosures to complete electronically prior to our first meeting.
